Large contaminations at two former Lindane production plants
Large contaminations at two former Lindane production plants have been reported by a group of Danish, Romanian and Slovakian journalists at the 13th International HCH and Pesticides Forum, held 3-6 November 2015 in Zaragoza, in Aragon, Spain:
– at the former Lindane production site in Turda, Romania, large HCH-Waste contamination are reported and illegal collection and sales of DDT

– at the former Juraj Dimitrov Chemical Enterprises (CHZJD) in Bratislava, Slovak Republic, where during the years 1956–1966 this factory produced more than 13,000 tons of Lindane.
