IHPA Board determines, reviews and adjusts the organization’s mission and purpose.

The Board also approves the annual budget and ensures financial controls and ensures adequate resources. Further it ensures IHPA legal and ethical integrity and its accountability. The Board is ultimately responsible for ensuring adherence to legal standards and ethical norms. The Board gives moral and professional support to the Managing Director in order to fulfil the goals of the organization.

During periodical meetings, the managing director reports to the Board and discusses progress and recent developments. Decisions are made on adjustments of plans and establishment of new plans, cooperation with other partners. Also requests of organisations that intend to host new international HCH and Pesticides For a are assessed and decided.
